Chances are that sometime in your day, you answer a call on a cordless phone or a cell phone. You may have even sometime in your life used a Ham radio or even a CB radio. These are just a few of the inventions that were developed and patented by the late Irving Al Gross. This individual is responsible for the further development in radio technologies used in the two-way radios in World War II. Also proposed by this inventor is the idea of mobile telephony, which we know today as the cell phone. But there is a story behind this great inventor. Not only are his later achievements in life significant, but so is the story of the inventor who brought us the communication devices that are used today in order to connect the world that we live in and bring the whole world a bit closer together.
